Moral Clarity for End-Time Living
Okay, I’ll admit it – I already miss the warm, sunny weather we enjoyed during the summer months until just a few short weeks ago. And though I’m happy for the diehard winter sports enthusiasts among us (you know who you are!), I much prefer the uplifting feel of bright balmy days filled with vitamin D exposure and invigorating outdoor activities! And in the tradition of 12-Step meeting introductions – “Hi, I’m Teddy, and I’m S.A.D.” – self-diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder! Question – do you have seasons in which your walk with Jesus seems less inspiring than others? Do you encounter long phases in life when devotional activities and spiritual growth are not as stimulating or evident as they once were? I certainly do. However, could it be that God has provided a counterintuitive way of receiving daily infusions of Holy Spirit encouragement to sustain and nourish us in these last days? If so, what might that be, and how do we embrace it in practical ways? This Sabbath, we’ll find out in a talk entitled, “Why Church? Part 4 of 5” – hope to see you then! ~ Teddy
